Kids are so easily impressed by what they see adults do and what they see going on in our world. Sometimes this can be a good thing, but most of the time it’s the wrong impression.
The best way for our youth to survive this confusing world is for us as parents to teach them to see the brighter side and not get sucked into what society tells them to do or be.
Kids and teens try too hard to fit in with their peers that they will do or try almost anything, even if they know it to be wrong, just to impress those who could care less.
What they need to learn is to be themselves and life will be so much easier. Who they are trying to make that impression on will just be a blurred memory in their future.
Being there for your child or teen is the most important way of helping them get through life and discover who they want to be in this world.
